What is "the Holy"?

Words fall short of capturing the human experience of connection to something larger than ourselves. That's why there are countless names used in religion and spirituality for the One we encounter in this mysterious and mystical experience. Love, life, God, Spirit, the Universe, a higher power, the ground of being - these are just a few. 

I use the word Holy to describe this sacred mystery that is both set apart from the ordinary and present in our every moment. Whether you prefer words from nature, a recovery program, a faith tradition, or everyday human relationships, I will welcome and embrace your personal spiritual language.
